Both the innovation and civilization is at the inception stage of human evolution.  Innovation is at the inception point and it never reaches the peak since each innovation acts as a chain reaction to give rise to more innovation and so on. The innovation has also a brief impact on culture and thus has a impact on civilization. Sexual protective equipment and contraceptive pills had a significant impact on culture. Inequality, racism and homosexual being a talk of the decade the human civilization is still being at infant stage in 21st century.
